Delicious.... Guns?

Florian Jenett and Valentin Beinroth are both actively engaged in a diverse range of artistic projects. These handgun shaped popsicles are one of their more controversial projects during 2009. These edible versions of guns comes coke, black currant, licorice, and cherry flavors.

In 2003, they dumped 50 firearm replicas made of ice all around public areas in Frankfurt, Germany. They were tinted black and made to look realistic as they captured public reaction of the discarded weapons. This 'performance' was of course eventually stopped by the police.

Shock art or pure insanity? You can be the judge of that.

I personally think it's hilarious. I wish we had more artists like these doing things like this. Really makes your day more interesting.

The ice gun project. Wow. A tad chaotic to just leave them about, but a pretty wild idea.

The edible ones...well, I'd try 'em out. Now they just need "bullets" with a splash of citrus!

I can think of more controversial popsicles to leave lying around.
