World Largest Gingerbread City

Claimed as the world's largest gingerbread city, this tremendous display of Christmas spirit was a result of approximately 10,000 participants. There were 2,000 builders participating on Saturday alone. The gingerbread city consists of over 1,000 gingerbread homes and is built in Bergen, Norway every year around Christmas.

Last year, the gingerbread city suffered from heavy vandalism that sparked an outrage in locals and all participants. A majority of the gingerbread city was in ruins less than a day after they were put on display. Participants ranging from children to professional bakers joined the effort to rebuild the city.

Some people could sure invest their time doing some more useful stuff, yet this is amazing the talent some people have! I mean, this almost looks as good as some plactic built small cities and it's godam gingerbread!

Who'd vandalize a gingerbread city?
Getting that drunk would be prohibitively expensive in Norway.

That is amazing. And those citizens of the city should have more respect for their town. Hope they find the culprit and eat him alive.
